What is GOTV? GOTV - Get Out The Vote - is the last two and a half weeks leading up through Election Day when all DFL candidates "fold in" and work all their doorknocking and phonebanking activities together on a coordinated schedule. This allows DFL candidates to utilize shared skills, experiences, and relationships to turn out as many voters as possible without duplicating work.

In short, GOTV is the most fun and exciting time in the election cycle where we combine ALL our resources to sprint toward the finish line and "run through the tape" on November 3!

What does this mean for all of us SD50 DFL and SD51 DFL volunteers? We check our calendars and sign up now for as many doorknock and phonebank shifts as we possibly can! There are many shifts to choose from, and there's something for everybody!

Signing up for voter outreach events at the Bloomington DFL Action Center (9217 17th Ave S, Suite 711) is quick and easy! Just use the links below.

Help staff the Bloomington DFL Action Center!

This volunteer opportunity is perfect for DFLers who are eager to help ELECT DEMOCRATS and have a few hours to spare for light office duty. This "front desk" job includes giving visitors a warm welcome, helping them locate lawnsigns, or directing them to staff members for a doorknock or phonebank. Spare-time activities might include assembling literature packets and other office tasks. Volunteer shifts are short — usually two to three hours — and there are opportunities for morning, mid-day, and evening, six days a week. SD50/SD51 Coordinated Campaign staff members will be there to show you the ropes and make sure you have all the information you need. THANK YOU so much for pitching in to support our Action Center! All your efforts help ensure that we ELECT DEMOCRATS in the 2026 General Election and beyond!
